How do I receive the software after purchase?
When Paddle file delivery is configured, your download link arrives by email after payment. Unzip it and run three commands (shown on this site and in the docs): the app installs in about two minutes and runs on your own computer — no account, no cloud.
Does it work fully offline?
Yes — and you can verify it, not just trust a badge. The built-in offline engine produces complete campaigns with zero network, and the dashboard shows a live network ledger: an exact count of every outbound request the app has made this session. Offline mode provably makes zero. Connecting an online provider (free Groq or Gemini keys, no card) is optional — and your data stays on your PC either way.
Is the offline output good enough to use as-is?
Offline mode is private, draft-quality templates — a fast, honest starting point, and every campaign ships with a quality score and claim-guard warnings so you can review before publishing. For production-grade copy, connect a free Groq or Gemini key in Settings (no card required): the same privacy-first engine, better words. We say this plainly because we'd rather earn trust than fake a demo.
What happens if BrandForge disappears one day?
Your software keeps working — that's the structural difference from a subscription tool. There is no license server to phone home to: your desktop license is validated entirely on your own machine, and the app never contacts a BrandForge server to run. No accounts, no activation checks, no kill switch. If we vanished tomorrow, your $49 purchase would work exactly as well in ten years (the optional update check pings GitHub releases only, and can be switched off).
What's the difference between Solo, Agency and OS?
All three are one-time, owned-forever licenses for the same full product — they differ by license scope. Solo is personal use (one user, your brand). Agency adds the right to run client work with unlimited client brands and white-label deliverables. OS adds the resell right and the full build source (dashboard source + CI) if you brand and sell it yourself.
Does it generate real AI images?
Desktop and the hosted Python service can include a real AI hero image when the configured image service is available (the default is a public Pollinations.ai FLUX endpoint; service limits may apply). Offline/Ollama mode makes no automatic image call and ships labeled SVG templates instead. The Vercel Cloud port currently ships an SVG hero only; it does not advertise image quotas.
Do I need to be technical?
You need Python 3.10+ (free, usually a short install). After that, one requirements file and a 30-second onboarding wizard pick your AI engine, run a sample campaign and open the dashboard. No servers to manage — it all runs on your machine.
Are Solo / Agency / OS different downloads?
Desktop Solo and Agency ship the same full application — the difference is license rights (personal vs client work), stated in the EULA. OS adds resell rights and extra source. Cloud Free/Pro/Agency are separate hosted plans with server-enforced limits.
